The Tourguide is a promotional clip on TMF ( best described as a Belgian MTV ) where they show 15 of the most promising concerts and festivals in the next months.
Tourguide has always been on TMF and needed a new design. I worked on this project for a month without a deadline, so I really had the time to experiment and try out a couple of techniques. More information at the Behance page
This is no doubt a lifechanging project. Not only did I decide that my future is in motion graphics, I also had the opportunity to work with the Belgian radiostation Studio Brussels. This is an entry for ImagineCup, a worldwide competition for students. It's an infographic about aids orphans. I had the pleasure to work with Fabian Meul for this project! You are currently looking at the Dutch version, the English version was made as the final entry for the competition.
Challenge: Visualising text with icons and cool animations. Find a way to balance easing.
Vintage fridges are hot! ( see what I did there? ) When we got a project where I we needed to customize a random object to our choosing, I came up with the idea to customize the different colors of a fridge.
Challenge: Using the FLEX Framework to make a fun web application. Exploring it's limits and possibilities.
I love to think about what the future may hold. It's no wonder I love science-fiction or anything futuristic. When we got a project where we had to make a news application, I couldn't resist making it look like it was made for a crew on some ancient spaceship.
Challenge: Combine different API from numerous services into one solid web application. Create alternative navigation system.
Creating a multi-user platform for companies where they can create rooms, enter a specific room, show presentation slides, where they can chat and turn on their webcam.
Challenge: Getting to know the Red5 Framework and work with virtual servers.
Making the site for a filmfestival. Can it get any cooler than that? I love the silver screen, I love storytelling, I love being in a theater and getting sucked into a story. I was lucky to have such an amazing team to work with. Gwendolyn Matthys and Sarah Deforche really are devoted to their work, be sure to give their portfolio a visit! Definitely one of the works I'm most proud of.
Challenge: Creating a visually, creative look while keeping the focus on the movies. Making an alternative way of signing in.
Worked in collaboration with Gwendolyn Matthys. Our client wanted a site where people with gluten intolerance can easily find a safe restaurant or hotel where they served gluten-free meals. First time we used user testcases to see our flaws in design and useability.
Challenge: Creating a site with a focus on useability and user experience. Translating that experience into a mobile application.
We live in a time where we have an overload on information. We can see what our friends are doing at any given moment. The objective here was to show how information and services are all connected in the future.
Challenge: Editting and coloring scenes. Use tracking data from Mocha in those scenes.
2010 might be the year of the iPad, Apple's newest tablet. It's always fun to explore new posibilities with new technology. I tried to make a magazine for a tablet. Taking the concept of a digital magazine and pushing it further. This is a mockup of how the magazine would boot.
Challenge: Keeping the look and feel of a regular magazine but adding a solid build-up for the cover.
